Jenn Wolff

Candidate for District 29

Meet Jenn Wolff

Jenn Wolff graduated from Waverly Shell Rock High School and from Wartburg College.  Her parents are retired teachers, Diane at West Cedar Elementary and Darold at Wartburg.  Jenn received a Masters in Occupational Therapy and worked at Taylor Physical Therapy for 10 years where she helped facilitate support groups for individuals with Parkinsons and their caregivers as well as individuals who had experienced a stroke and their caregivers.

Jenn became disabled during graduate school which allowed her to experience needing care before providing it as a therapist.  This also opened her eyes to systemic discrimination the disability community and other marginalized communities deal with on a regular basis.  She has been organizing with #UpgradeMedicaid to share the stories of those most impacted by the care crisis happening in Iowa and across the nation to create change.  Realizing that the care crisis impacts families with children, individuals who rely on Home and Community Based Services and our aging Iowans, has led her to run for Iowa Senate District 29.
